Use the following space to type your questions and answers (type sentences in
blue):

Q1 - Did you use to ride horses on the ranch?

A1 - No, I didn´t use to ride a horse

Q2 - Did you use to water the plants in your house?

A2 - Yes, I used to water the plants of my house

Q3 - Did she use to eat chocolates every day?

A3 - No, she didn´t use to eat chocolates

Q4 - Did he use to clean his room daily?

A4 - Yes, I used to clean it daily.

Q5 - Did they race in go karts?

A5 - They didn´t prefer to take a boat ride


Q6 - friend are you going to wash the dishes?

A6 - yes, I always wash the dinner dishes

Q7 - Do you want to dance salsa next weekend?

A7 - of course I love salsa dancing

Exercise 2

Analyze each image, then observe the clue adjective, and Write down three sentences for
each image, use the past simple tenses, see the example to guide you through.

CLUE : EXPENSIVE

Sentence 1 (adjective/clue).- The ball was expensive

Sentence 2 (comparative).- The doll was more expensive than the ball Example

Sentence 3 (superlative).- The bicycle was the most expensive

Write 3 comparative sentences with the vocabulary

1. --- I was about to call the doctor but she is less


sick than I thought.

2. --- I'm crossing the river. It's less deep than I was told.

3. --- A frog is less pretty than a real princess.

Use your creativity. Write 3 sentences with the


vocabulary “GOOD” and then use its comparative form
as well as its superlative, to compare three things or
three people.

1. (good) --- You are a good person


2. (comparative) --- but your friend Juan is better
at school than you
3. (superlative) --- but you are the best playing soccer

Now compare something bad.

1. (bad) --- not eating vegetables is bad for your health


2. (comparative) --- but not make exercising is worse
3. (superlative) --- do not eat vegetables and don`t make exercise is the worst for
your health
