A. Introduction

Comp Fair ‘19 is the largest annual IT event held with specialty of academic
and IT knowledge by student of school of computing. For the new era, this school of
computing fair aims to make an impact towards the society through academy
workshops, hackathon competition, comptizen talk and forums. This year, Comp Fair
‘19 will bring “the fourth industrial revolution as business and IT mining balancing” as
the main theme.

D. Format

Platform workshop are 3 hours in length

E. Workshop Guidelines

• Prepare your content to fit within the prescribed topic.

• Provide well-organized and well-delivered content.

• Provide related items or software needed for the workshop.

• Use simple sentences; avoid jargon, highly specialized vocabulary and

unfamiliar abbreviations.

• Spend more time on new information; if your audience needs to be reminded of

old or common information, be brief.

• Think about questions you might be asked and be prepared with well thought

out answers.

• No selling from the stage.

• No political agendas.

• No religious proselytizing (including new age beliefs).

• Ensure that you are aware of the time limit for your workshop and that you do

not exceed this limit.

*Speakers are advised to send their related items or software needed for the workshop
and it should be informed beforehand if there any before traveling to the event, by
sending the related items to [email protected]
F. Purpose

a) To persuade students to learn more by gaining capabilities and learning new


skills through the workshop

b) As a form of devotion for students who provide benefits in the field of


information technology by sharing openly

c) To provide and introduce students in the festival on the academic scope and
work career in computer science

d) Values (Collaborative, Interactive, Impactful)

I. Travel and Hospitality

Currently we cannot cover for your flight because there are some funding issues
until next information but we will be happy to assist you to book airline ticket, and
directly send to you by email.

For any airport service, we are happy to assist you. Please send your
confirmation email and contact us for more information.

J. Service and Accommodation

For every conductor we will provide a person called ‘Protocol Assistants’ that
will help you and will be your guide as long as you are here. They will assist you in
your car, room reservation and as your LO for the big day.

If you have given your confirmation, we will send a team to help you for
schedule arrangement. Furthermore, if you would like to go to other places within the
campus, please inform us first and we can help you but all expenses should be paid by
yourself.
