people can go online and shop designer clothes and accessories which consists of daily
dose of fashion and style hacks.
Roles and Responsibilities :
I was working with a team of 2 members where my work was to identify functional scenarios,
Integration scenarios and system scenarios and I have found many useability, compatibility and
globalization issues on this application.
Acti time - Acti time is a web based software for time tracking and management. It helps
to improve business process and helps its users to organize their work better.
I have identified many functional scenarios, smoke scenarios, integration scenarios and
system scenarios on this project.
2. Academic Project
An Efficient Mechanism For Classification Of Imbalanced Data
Description: The classification algorithms are facing a problem in the classification of highly
imbalanced datasets. All the classification algorithms are biased towards the majority classes
ignoring most of the significant samples present in the minority class. To resolve this issue, a
method called Hybrid Sampling technique is proposed to deal with multi class imbalanced data.
Roles and Responsibilities :
I was involved in measuring the class imbalanced data for multiple class distributions. Further, I
balanced the data distribution for all the classes and I saw that there was increase in the
performance of the classifier when a balanced dataset was observed.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Participated in 11th National Level Conference on "Recent Trends in Computer Science
and Engineering" NCRTCSE-16, SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore, held on 7th
May 2016, presented a paper on An Efficient Mechanism For Classification Of
Imbalanced Data and won “BEST PAPER” award for the same.
Published a research paper entitled "An Efficient Mechanism For Classification Of
Imbalanced Data" in International Journal Of Advanced Research Trends in
Engineering and Technology(IJARTET) and won the "BEST RESEARCH PAPER
AWARD" for the same.
Won first place in Bhagavad-Gita chanting and participated in intra college gita chanting
and singing competitions.
