Goals
Gallagher Hardware Installer training based on this outline will introduce the procedures
necessary to configure: -
• Installation & Technical Specifications of Gallagher Hardware
• Power cabling, data cabling requirements
• Configuring System Alarm, Controllers, HBUS Devices, Inputs & Outputs within Gallagher
software
• Bringing Controllers and HBUS devices online.
At the completion of training attendees will have the ability and confidence to configure the
Hardware for a basic Gallagher system. Attendees are recommended to treat this course as
pre-requisite learning for the 2-day Access Technician course.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite:
• General PC Skills
• Basic understanding of networks and TCP/IP
Note
Certification is valid for a period of 2 years after which time Recertification is required to
maintain the qualification.

- Creating a System Alarm Zone in Configuration client
- Creating Controllers in Configuration client and bringing them online.
