Direction: Answer the following question provided.

1. Based on the lesson provided explain your understanding about the term PATH-Fit as a
concept of physical Education?
- PATH-fit is a way to make our body be more healthy. But it also focuses on having a
healthy mind. PATH-fit improves our posture, reduces risk of having disease such as
cancer, diabetes and other. It develop also our muscle, endurance, it strengthen our bones
and joints, for us to feel fusty all the time.
2. How can Physical Education contribute to a person’s holistic growth particularly
through physical, emotional, and mental development?
- Physical activities promotes development and has a lot of benefits for our physical body,
mental health and emotional health. Physical activity in connection to physical education
design to improve persons self-concept, behaviors and having self-efficacy. Also it
improves mental health by preventing disease such as anxiety, depressions etc. Physical
education helps us to know our weakness and strength also for us to know what we can
do and the things we need to improve.
3. In this time of “Pandemic” with the new normal approach in education, do you agree in
the proposal to temporary remove physical education and just focuses with the core
subjects? Why?
- For me I don’t agree in removing this subject, because all of us needs to know a lot of
information and knowledge about having a healthy body and healthy mind. Also learning
physical education inspires many students in achieving a good health. And we know that
we’re experiencing a pandemic so we need to have a lot of information for us to adopt all
the thing we’ve learn on Physical Education.
