Module 2: Technology and Needs
ACTIVITY
1. Explain why solutions and problems are said to be intimately combined or related".
In every work there is an action just like solutions and problems. If there is a problem, there
is a solution. They are related because the other one will be the process in order to have an answer or
solve the given problem. I think not just in some life aspects, but also in business world where we
cannot hide the problem we are going through. I do believe that if there is a problem there is always
a plan or a solution in order to get a satisfied answer.

2. What is a need or pain point?

The meaning of the need or pain point is the root of the problem. The need or a pain point is
how we overcome to the said problem, there are some steps and guide for us to overcome the said
problem. Just like, you are looking for the right source and the main reason of the given situation or
issue.

3. In your own words, explain how solutions are mistaken for pain points or problems.
In my own opinion, some pain points are mistakenly being a solution. Why? because pain
points are the ways or the source to come up with a solution. In order to get the solution in a certain
problem/s we must conduct or find pain points, so that there are supporting solutions or a process to
undergo and formulate a solution.

4. According to the article: (How Japan Lost Its Electronics Crown.

Japan lose its leadership in electronics?
