HRMT 85 - SPECIAL TOPICS IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

SEMINAR PAPER FORMAT

1. Cover Page/Title Page should contain the following:

 CvSU heading including the Vision on the left and Mission on the right side

 Title of the seminar - 10 single spaces after the heading in UPPER CASES,
boldfaced, center aligned, single spaced for long titles

 Submission statement - 10 single spaces after the title of the seminar, single
spaced.

In partial fulfillment
of the requirements for the course
Special Topics in Human Resource Management
(Course Code)

 Group number and names of group members - in alphabetical order


(surname), first name first, single spaced. In UPPER CASES

 Name of Instructor - single spaced after the group members, in


UPPERCASES, labeled Instructor after the name

2. Title page is followed by a blank page

3. Table of Contents

4. Text should be in Arial 11

5. Abstract - summary

6. Learning Objectives (at least 3)

7. Content (note that only with chapter one, the pages are numbered, starting
with page number 1) (Introduction, Body, Conclusion)

8. References - Include at least the following information: Author, Title of the paper,
Published where and when, possible www-address and quotation date, possible
ISBN or ISSN number.

9. Figures and tables may be included with discussion

10. General Guidelines

 Use A4 paper format

 Margins - use 1.5 inch (left), 1 inch (all sides) - all pages

 Text should be in Arial 11

 Use blocked text alignment (i.e. alignment to left and right), and use a 1.5
line spacing between the lines

 Add a page header to all pages, containing at least the page # on the right
corner of the page, (Take note that pages # containing main topics
should be imaginary) - no page number is to be indicated

 Preliminary pages - should be numbered in roman numerals, placed at the


bottom of the page, center aligned

 Main topics should be in UPPERCASES, boldfaced, center aligned with 3


single spaces before the first line of the paragraph

 Sub topics should be in sentence format (first letter of the words only are in
uppercase, boldface

 Provide additional spacing between the paragraphs. (add .5 line space)

11. Members’ Participation Details - last page of the seminar paper
