Dear Officer/Sir/Madam,

This is a letter to request travel exemption for me, Applicant Name (Passport No. XXXX). I am a

Due to a change of employment overseas resulting from COVID-19, my Australian partner must repatriate
back to his home in Australia with his employer to take up a role in Brisbane (Queensland). Please see
attached Repatriation Letter from his employer to repatriate back to Australia.

3.Our Finances

We both are quite similar when it comes to financial goals as we both like to save and invest. We opened
a joint account immediately. {Australian Partner Name}was generous to contribute much of our joint
account balance and he helped me pay off a car loan I had acquired before marriage. We want to boost
our savings long term and try to buy a home in Australia one day.

{Australian Partner Name}and I are a big fan of Amazon and love to shop online, finding affordable deals
etc. as it saves a lot of time and money. I have an individual salary account from which I take out cash to
pay for our petty expenses in local restaurants and markets. I completely trust {Australian Partner
Name}and have nominated him as a beneficiary of my life insurance, and he is also a beneficiary of my
workplace’s medical insurance plan. My dear husband – {Australian Partner Name}is a selfless person
and I trust him completely and have therefore appointed him as the Executor and beneficiary of my will.

We are a young couple and our current goals are to save money for our future and buy a house together
in Brisbane over the long term. We are very open to each other with our financial goals and have started
a joint account with HSBC for small expenses. {Australian Partner Name}has an Australian bank account
which doesn’t get used much since we are overseas. We also have an individual bank accounts setup in
India before our marriage.

We believe in sharing all our assets, what’s mine is his and what’s his is mine. We both have signed off
our will and nominated each other as primary beneficiaries. In July 2020, {Australian Partner
Name}helped me pay off a car loan from our joint account, from the savings he accumulated, to help
reduce debt, save on loan interest and works towards our goal of having more savings in the future. I am
also included on his joint company health insurance. I am also a beneficiary of two Superannuation
accounts held in Australia. In addition, we both have executed a Power of Attorney (PoA) to ensure we
can make decisions on my behalf (if required) as we have full trust in each other.

5. Our Household

How we share housework and chores

We love each other’s company and cherish every moment together. Most importantly, we feel a sense of
genuine commitment to each other and our families. We help out other and contribute to the daily chores
by taking turns such as cooking, cleaning and shopping. We often visit xxxx family, go for hiking and
dinners together.

Thanks to the generosity of my parents, we don’t have a lot of ongoing fixed costs as we live in their
house and they don’t charge us with living, boarding and utilities. We opened a joint bank account which
we use for occasional online shopping (e.g. Amazon) and entertainment (e.g. Netflix) etc.

We equally share the chores of the household, she does the cooking, so I clean it up afterwards. We
generally don’t have any strict rules surrounding household duties only to support each other and
distribute the workload evenly; if she cooks, I will do the washing.

On weekends, we used to go out to explore the local shopping mall and eat out at various restaurants.
This came to a halt following COVID-19 lockdowns all around the world. Post March 2020, nowadays we
watch Netflix, occasionally order food in from local restaurants etc. and dream of the countries we want to
visit when the world resumes back to normal.

How we intend to live together in the future

When a man and woman get married, the two souls become one. It gives us a life partner, a guide, a
philosopher, as we move through the adversities and happiness of life together. My presence gives him
more strength and motivation. We are planning to stay in Australia together, buy a house and start our
own family.

6.Nature of Our Commitment

Our nature of commitment as a married couple is strong and a long-term bond in financial,
social, household and legal aspects.
Few words from my Australian Partner (Australian Partner Name) below:
“Applicant is the kindest and most loving person I know and is truly my better half. She
has the most wonderful personality and is a very intelligent woman, her lifestyle and the
way she cares for everyone has taught me many lessons that I apply to my life to make
me a better person every day.

I love her very much and foresee her being the mother of our beautiful children. We
always talk about the number of kids we want to have. I want one but she wants two, so
I can’t wait to find out who wins. I get so excited thinking about how cute our babies will
turn out to be.

Applicant is the best thing in my life and I am very grateful for having her with me. I will
forever love her and look forward to sharing the rest of my life with her.”
We have signed Wills in each other names for a lifelong commitment. Please see the evidence
in the following pages.
