bellavista ventilators
Efficient, lung-protective ventilation for
every patient.
The challenges encountered in mechanical ventilation are man-
ifold today. The principal objectives are, as hitherto, to minimise
the ventilation-associated stress for the patient and to achieve
optimal patient comfort through optimised synchronisation. The
user's work load is to be reduced and the weaning process is to
be accelerated. The bellavista family comprises four innovative
intensive ventilators with a broad range of application and solu-
tions designed to enable you to provide your patients with the
best possible application at any time.
Our standard model bellavista 1000 convinces with its high quality
and wide application possibilities. The bellavista 1000 e offers you
the same versatility, but due to the larger touch screen, you can
benefit from even better clarity. The bellavista 1000 neo is geared
specifically to the needs of neonates. The bellavista 1000 mr
was developed for intra-hospital transports and the use in
the MRT environment. You can comprehensively customise all
bellavista ventilators with their options and features to suit your
wishes and requirements in each situation.
imtmedical has more than 25 years of experience in the develop
ment of medical state-of-the-art technology. Our goal is to
develop the very best ventilator for you and your daily work
in your field of work. Our unique user interface facilitates
operation of the system for you and our technology enhances
your patient's comfort.
Adaptive Ventilation Mode
Where the ventilation adapts to the patient and
weaning starts automatically.
Adaptive Ventilation Mode (AVM) is a smart ventilation mode that enables con-
siderable reduction of the number of ventilation settings, thus relieving the
user's workload. By continual measurement of the lung mechanics, AVM adapts
to the patient's needs from each breath to the next, regardless of whether the
patient is being ventilated or is breathing spontaneously by himself.
AVM always calculates the optimal ventilation pattern with the lowest possible
ventilation pressure. In this way, AVM safely takes care of your patient from in-
tubation to extubation.
Combined with our unique features auto.rise and auto.sync, AVM enables safe
ventilation and rapid weaning.

High Flow Oxygen Therapy
Improved oxygenation combined with
greatest patient comfort.
High Flow Oxygen Therapy (HFOT) is a form of therapy which
is able, in combination with an actively humidified tubing
system, to effectively improve the oxygenation of patients
while enhancing patient comfort. This is achieved by high
flow rates which build up a positive pressure in the naso-
pharyngeal space.
In contrast to conventional non-invasive forms of ventila-
tion, patients are able to drink, eat and speak while under-
going HFOT.
Thanks to the continual flushing-out of the nasopharyngeal
space, the anatomic dead space is reduced, with the result
that the breathing-off of CO2 is markedly improved.
Lung Recruitment Tool Synchronisation tools
Our tools for lung recruitment – reliable, reproducible, simple.
The avoidance of Ventilator-Induced Lung Injury (VILI) is one of the most important tasks during inva-
sive ventilation. The assessment as to whether the lung of a ventilated patient is recruitable, and thus
also the determination of the optimal PEEP, is a very challenging task - unless one has a tool at one's
disposal which provides the relevant information.
The bellavista Lung Recruitment Tool (LRT) is an
automated manoeuvre which presents all re-
quired information on lung recruitment to the

Oesophageal pressure measurement constitutes
another possibility to pursue your lung-protec-
tive ventilation strategy and to prevent VILI. The

AnimatedLung
AnimatedLung is a dynamic tool that visualises the mechanical state of your
patient's lung for you at a glance. The easily comprehensible graphic display
enables you to immediately detect changes of lung compliance and resistance
as well as the patient's spontaneous activity.
VentSummary
VentSummary shows you the most important respiratory weaning parameters,
such as spontaneous respiration, PEEP and ventilation pressure. You can easily
adjust the limits individually on the basis of your weaning protocol. As soon as
the patient is within the desired limits, VentSummary shows you the amount of
time during which your patient fulfills the weaning criteria by means of a timer.
