BAMBOO LAMPSHADE
A PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR CONTEMPORARY PHILIPPINE ARTS OF THE REGION
Bamboo is the most common local materials that we see in many regions in
Cavite, that there are so many things to do such as; bamboo chair, bamboo house,
bamboo table etc. Bamboo will only grow in distributed tropical and subtropical to
mild temperate regions which means the Philippines is included.
As we anticipated our product will be created this year (2018). We want to
contribute our product as an inspiration to many people that they will not know even
in the single of bamboo there is so many things to do that it is very useful. We want
to contribute that our product is common materials that we are needed. We want to
pursued that our product is very useful to the people at the same time because we
want to make to our product or artwork that it is very common or unique.
OUR PRODUCT
Our Group plans to create a very simple
product that it was made in bamboo. Aside in
bamboo we are making also a simple kind of arts
in the bamboo that our product will provide a
simple kind of arts, specifically our bamboo
lampshade we’re using a LED lights or ordinary
lights that makes our products glow.
RAW MATERIALS
Bamboo is the common materials
that we will use to make a bamboo
lampshade. Cavite is known as a major
producer of bamboo in the Philippines and
different art work that has made of
bamboo. Therefore, our product will use
bamboo as a primarily materials within our
lamp.
Shell is also known as a common
materials that will also find in the Cavite
area, because in Cavite there is so many
beach so they can easily to find a shell.
Lights is a part of our product that they can
give a shining to our product. Without this part
our product will not be completed. The color that
we choose in our light is color yellow, because
this is the commonly used when you see a
lampshade that they can give a very shining light
in the dark.
Wire is the one that can connect to the light
that they can give an electricity and the light will
shine. So this wire is also needed to our product and
it is very important, because without this our product
will not be percfect.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PRODUCT
The product that we are making is a bamboo lampshade. The product is very
beneficial to the owner as it will provide a dim and beautiful design of light in the
night that they can relaxing before you sleep. Aside from that, it is a very unique
material that we made because these materials from to our beautiful nature. In
addition, the LED lights is an echo friendly materials that it is safe to our
environment.
This product can help many people if they have an interruption in sleeping,
because in this unique and beautiful design you will realize that you are in the
different places. So this product also can give a light in the dark that you will use it. It
will give an impact for those the people that having a nightmare while sleeping.
Lastly, it will not cost as much as you think to the other commercialize product,
because our product is simple and not as much effort but it is more better than to the
ordinary lampshades.
STRUCTURE OF THE BAMBOO LAMPSHADE
This shape is representing a bamboo that
we will using to in our product. The bamboo is the
body of our product that we will furnished and
smooth. It will be cut in height of our bamboo
lampshade is 1 ft. below.
This design it is a hole that the light will go
outside and make a shape if they are reflected to
the wall. So this purpose is to make our
lampshade more beautiful in our costumer if they
will see it.
This structure is a joint venture of our
product that they will also called as a feet of our
lampshade that they can keep balance in our
lampshade and to stand better. Were using a
bamboo also to make this parts.
