BIOGRAPHY
A biography is the story of someone's life--but it's a lot more than just a list of events, dates, and times. In a basic
biography, you may nd facts about:

Date and place of birth (and death, if applicable)

Major achievements
Education
Work facts
An overview of what makes the person signi cant

What is included in a biography will become more complex as the biography gets longer: the more words you have to use,
the more facts you can consider for inclusion. A biography that's several pages long will probably go into more detail
about the person's history and what events throughout life made them who they were.
Some important words that you may use in a biography are:

WORD DEFINITION
accomplishment the completion or ful llment of something
achievement something you succeeded in doing; usually with effort
adversity hardship and suffering
attribute a quality or property of someone or something
characteristic  a feature or quality that makes someone (or something) recognizable
impact  the powerful or dramatic effect someone has
in uential  able to have a powerful affect on people or events
perspective  a particular evaluation of something
con ict  a problem, clash, or struggle
contribution  a role played in achieving something
ambition  desire for success; a goal or objective
