MY PREDICTION ABOUT ROSA AND

AKIKO’S RELATIONSHIP

My prediction is that Rosa and Akiko will develop a close relationship. First of
all, Hiro told Rosa that Akiko was friendly and that she wore nice clothes.
Therefore, Rosa expected Akiko to be and behave this way, and this is related to a
self-fulfilling prophecy. She noticed that Akiko was nice, had short hair, and was
well dressed, so Rosa liked how Akiko looked, and beauty is an important part of
attraction. By the way, the primacy effect is an essential element of first
impressions. This is the idea that it is difficult to change the first impression. Rosa
and Akiko have a good first impression of each other; for this reason, it will be
difficult for them to notice bad things about the other person later. Another
crucial part of attraction is similarity. People tend to choose partners who have
things in common with them, and Rosa and Akiko both like to shop. Moreover,
exchange is definitely a vital aspect when having a relationship whether with
family, friends, or a romantic partner. Rosa was a student advisor and helped
Akiko to orientate since she was a new student. For this reason, Akiko was grateful
