MODULE 8: Adding Sound

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 9:00-10:00 am - Wilbur Time Frame: 1 week

OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

 Insert sound into a sprite.


 Compose sounds in scratch.
 Learn the value of music as a creative expression.

Introduction:
Pre-assessment:
Direction: answer the following question, write your answer on Activity Answer Sheet given in
the last page of this module.

Guide Question:
 How do we apply conditional and logical operators in Scratch.
 What is the importance of making critical decisions?

Discussion:

Read “Let’s Discover” and learn more about Conditional Control Blocks. Understand the whole contents
on pages 67 - 69 of your text-book.

 Using un Cellphone QR Scanner


Adding sounds is fun! Let us scan the two (2) QR codes to learn more on page - 70 of your
text book.

Practice Activity:
Direction: Use Scratch App and add sound to enhance your existing output.
Refer to “Let’s Try This” activity 1 and “Let’s Do This” activity 2 on page 69. Send your finish
output file in our google classroom.

Performance task:

Direction: Apply what you have learned on this lesson.


Refer to Let’s Level up” activity 3 on page – 70 on your text book.

Send your finish output file in our google classroom.
