b Design a concrete mix construction of an elevated water tank as per ACI method. 5
The specified design strength of concrete (characteristic strength) is 30 MPa at 28
days measured on standard cylinders. Standard deviation can be taken as
4MPa.the soecific gravity of FA and CA are 2.65 and 2.70 respectively. The dry
maded bulk density of CA is 1600kg/m 3 and fineness modulus of FA is 2.80 OPC
'11111 oe used. A slump of 50 mm is necessary CA is found to be absorptive to the
extent of 1 % snd free surface mOisture In sand is found to be 2%.assume any otner
essential data.
