Social media sites have become important venues for exercising freedom of speech, as they allow users to freely express thoughts and feelings by posting. However, social media can also spread false or misleading information if posts are not verified or sourced. There should be limitations on what information can be posted to ensure responsibility, as not all information posted is necessarily true just because it is widely shared. While social media enables connection and sharing of information, people should be held accountable for misusing or abusing their freedom of speech, as freedom does not mean there are no consequences for one's actions or speech. Responsibility and limitations are needed to prevent issues like cyberbullying, pornography or illegal acts.

Do you think that people should use social media in exercising their freedom of speech?

For me, it is necessary to use social media in exercising their freedom of speech because social media sites like Facebook,
Instagram and Twitter have become important venues for users to exercise free speech rights. Freedom of speech is broadly
understood that person has the right to freely express his/her feelings and thoughts through posting on social media he/she
used. It is really important for everyone because each one of one us has different set of thinking and point of views, and by use
of media sites it can spread the idea amid public. When we talk about social media it can be very influential on society in both
positive and negative ways. It let people share fun and the ability to get more useful information’s. We cannot deny the fact that
some people especially the teenagers or the generation z now adays express their feelings through posting on Fb and most
especially the Twitter because they can feel the freedom they want to be and feel like nobody cares about their posts and etc.
Even me, I can feel the freedom through social media why because when we go in the real world there are things we must to
follow. But it will depend on you how you will use it.

What should the limits of freedom of speech in social media?

In this generation, social media can give us what we want to know. With the advancement of technology, we are enabled to
completed more task in less time, with less effort and productivity. Social media also feel us connected because it keeps us
better informed about our friends, love ones and etc., social media can manipulate, influence, persuade and controlling the world
at times in both positive and negative ways; mentally, physically and emotionally. However, it can also become false and
misleading information. There are some information’s that cannot be verified, without sources and possibly untrue. Almost of us
just share, like or follow some page that are showing news headlines. This is the ability of social media to show a large member
of news in a short time means that users might not take the time to research and verify the news they posted and it makes
popular because of likes and widely shared but it doesn't mean it’s true. That is why there should be limitations of information’s to
be posted in social media. Just like the First Amendment in US who are responsible particularly social networking sites such as
Facebook, Twitter and many more can limit, control and censor speech as mush. There so many cases that we can encounter
through using social media and we are the one who can decide what can be true or not. We need bear in mind that we should be
responsible of our action because we are not the only one who using social media sites.

Should we hold people accountable for misuse or abuse of social media in exercising their freedom of speech? Why or why not?

Yes, we should hold people accountable for misuse or abuse of social media in exercising their freedom of speech because
when we say freedom it doesn't mean you can do want you want to do and say want you want in social media site. Freedom of
speech does not confer the people the right to speak or publish without responsibility. Some of us use this to abuse or misuse of
social media that is why the cyberbullying, pornography and illegal act were consisted. Misuse and abuse it lend us to negative
effects if we use social media without proper used.

Yes, we have the freedom of speech to express our thoughts and feelings but still it has limitations or considerations to follow.
Even though we are talking about cyberspace still our freedom of speech will still under the provision of the government policy. I
really do believe that responsibility and freedom go together. If you don’t want to take responsibility, you can’t have freedom
either. The two come together or they go together. If you use your freedom then, responsibility comes along with it. As expected,
you must take the responsibilities on what you have done in your freedom.
