Program Title : 2-day LAC Sessionin ICT Hands-on Minds-on Learning of the different
MS Applications.

Program Description: Domain 4: Curriculum


S4.7 Demonstrates skills in the use of ICT in teaching and learning.
Prerequisite Programs: 1. In depth knowledge of educational apps and educational
sites: How to make use of it in teaching and learning.
2. Basic workshop on how to upload and download
materials from the internet.
3. Learning how to set up and operate using a projector.
4. Learning on how to do a basic troubleshooting on CPU
and laptop.
Duration: 9 Teachers to join scheduled training, 2 days

Delivery Mode: Job-embedded Learning (JEL) components of the program ( coaching,
LAC session, teaching demonstration)
Target Personnel: 9 Teachers
Budget Requirements: P 5,800

Rationale:

Generation Z-the term given to our new generation today. It has been known for so long now that our
world today has been greatly surrounded by heaps and different forms of technologies arising here and
there.Thus, these technologies have so much use for all of us especially on the part of educators and young
learners who have found it very helpful and are generally comfortable in using these.Blended learning,
mobile learning, connectivism and increasingly popular ideas all owe their existence to technology most
especially for teachers. Therefore, teachers of the new generation must be well equipped with the right
high-technology crafts in order to go with this fast developing technology world and be prepared and
propelled to be more competent educators in our society today.

Objectives:
1. Use the different Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS
Publisher.
2. Demonstrate skills in using the different Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS
Powerpoint and MS Publisher.
3. Value the importance of knowing how to use the different Microsoft applications through
ICT.
