Secuencia Didáctica

Monday: VERBS- see, watch , look, gaze, stare, spot, glance


Pre: Click on the following link https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/2018/10/quiz-animal-eye-photo-
gallery-news/ and share the screen, then encourage students to do the quiz about animal’s eyes.
While: Share your screen and display the next information about the difference between SEE, WATCH, LOOk, gaze, stare, spot,
glance.
Then, share with them a quiz (anexo 1) in which students should choose the corresponding verb, look, watch or see, they should
record their answer and at the end, share the correct answer, they should check their answers themselves and say howmany correct
they got.

Post: Finally, ask students to make a mind map or use post-it to make notes, and add one example per each one, they can illustrate
and upload it in Classroom, if they have doubts, they can check the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ6Uboz5Kro to have
a clearer idea.

Tuesday: 2ND CONDITIONAL


Pre: Show an image (anexo 2) and read the phrase aloud, and ask students what they imagine there is behind that door in order to
make the warning possible.

While: Display the next information to the class about 2 nd conditional and explain them that we use it for imaginary situations in
the present or future and also, help them to identify the formula, (anexo 2) Ask them to make notes about this topic.
After that, show a short video to reinforce the structure of 2 nd Conditional through this link:

Post: then, project a set of pictures (for example, a super hero, a filthy person, a character of any story) to increase the students’
interest and encourage them to write at least 3 examples using the 2nd conditional and ask to upload it in the platform.

Wednesday: 3RD CONDITIONAL


Pre: Write the word “Hypothetical” and make a brainstorming about this word write all the opinions given

While: Display the next information about 3 rd conditional (anexo 4) and explain the usage and some examples, in this case, it’s
important to reinforce the structure of past perfect simple if it’s necessary.
Encourage them to make notes about this.

Post: Thn, ask them to make a comic including 3rd conditional, or even they could include Zero first, second and third, show and

Thursday: WRITING- Formal letter


Pre: Ask students if they have bought something online, which app they prefer or which the restirctions are and all the
stuffs it includes, and guide them to give an answer about what happens when they don’t receive the product they asked for.
While: then, introduce the topic “Formal letter”, and project an example of this type of writing, and explain the structure
of it. (anexo 3).
Encorage them to write some phrase they can use in it:
*Saying what you are writing: I am writing to complain about/ enquire about/ tell you about/suggest
I would like to request further information about---
I would be most grateful if you could send me details of..
(anexo 3)

Post: Finally, ask kids to write a formal letter complaining about something they bought online between 120-150 words and send it
to check .

Friday: Speaking
Pre: Project some images about old and modern music, and different kinds of music, for example electronic music, jazz music, etc.
While: Choose some students randomly and ask them to describe the pictures, colors, positions, ideas, and give their opinions
about them.
Then, ask kids to choose their favorite singer and make a small presentation in Word or PowerPoint, so they’ll need some minutes to
find some information and images about him, you can ask to investigate previously. (15 minutes maximum) just ask to choose main
aspects or interesting facts about them

Post: Finally, they will explain about their choice, so it’s important to have their microphones off to listen carefully to the student
who is explaining, students can participate and give their opinions to make it a little bit more interesting. Try to give them 3 minutes
to explain in order to have all student’s participation.
