In order to obtain reliable and targeted intelligence rapid and precise information is
required. Saab’s sensor products for electronic surveillance and electronic intelligence
are engineered with this in mind, and designed to provide maximum information efficiently.
The sensors are part of the Sirius passive sensor solutions for land-based applications.
Robust, selective and proven algorithms for signal sorting and emitter
identification and a high degree of user-configurable automation
enables the operator to focus on critical tasks and supports persistent
operation with low personnel footprint during periods of low activity.
NETWORK OPERATION
The EPS-500 sensor system allows for remote operation and connection to
the Sirius advanced multi sensor network where the Tasking and Reporting
System provide centralised coordinated management and tasking of
connected sensor resources. The EPS-500 sensor can be tasked to provide
detailed ELINT data as well as accurate emitter track data for building of
the situational picture based on information from multiple sensors.
Tools for emitter library management and analysis of recorded data as well
as a comprehensive In Service Support program supports efficient operation
of the EPS-500 sensor system.
Sensors can be installed permanently on strategic locations or integrated EPS-500 provides detailed fine grain
ELINT data and analysis functions,
into transportable platforms for flexible deployment. Fully deployment ready
necessary for maintaining EW/SIGINT
solutions can be offered. The EPS-500 sensor system is operational and databases and emitter library production.
available in in different configurations.
