Model Specification and Identification

Model specification and identification explains the general information of the structural equation modeling (SEM) model created in AMOS, including a summary of the model's parameters, variables, and computation degree of freedom. This initial process provides key details on the model's variables and parameters to inform subsequent assessment of the measurement model.

Model Specification and Identification

1) Model specification and identification explain the general information of the

model in SEM procedures that are created via AMOS.

2) These processes contain the summary of parameters in the model of the

study.
3) Furthermore, the computation degree of freedom and variable summary are
explained in the process of model specification and identification.

4) All variables in the model are explained in summary of number observed,

unobserved, endogenous, exogenous and numbers of parameters in
the model.

5) Summary parameters show the categories of model parameters such as

weights, co-variances, variances and means.

6) Model specification and identification using AMOS also show the

computation degree of freedom based in the number of distinct
sample moments and the number of distinct parameters that have
been estimated. All these information are identified as further information to
the next process of measurement model assessment.
