Duel Media Filter:

It contains two stage filters. One stage includes various layer of Sands and the other is Activated Carbon.
That’s why this is known as Duel Media filter.

It filters the Total Suspended Solid (TSS) which includes 5-10 micron suspended solid and slightly iron.

Hypochlorite dosing is performed at the starting of this stage. A backwash is performed after every 8
hours interval of time.

Softener Filter:

Softener Filter is made by layers of Cation Resin which actually reduces the hardness (Ca2+ & Mg2+) of
water.

After a regular interval of time Salt Regeneration is performed to active the Cation Resin by releasing
stuck Ca2+ & Mg2+.

SMBS-Sodium Metabisulfite (Na2S2O5) dosing is performed after the process of this filtration for
removing Cl and so lowering oxidation & corrosion.

Reverse Osmosis Unit:

There are two sets of RO Unit. Each of which actually reduces the Total Dissolve Solid (TDS). High
pressure pump is used to perform RO process. Anti-Salient chemical is used to remove the dirt layer at
the RO chamber.

Electro-Deionization Unit:

Water flows through the high charged anode & cathode. Anode & Cathode collects the various dissolved
ions and so the conductivity of water reduces at the lowest value.
