This is to notifu for all concerned that in exercise of the powers under scction 24 ot
the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulation Act, 2001 (Act No XVIII of 2001)
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is pleased to rcvise solne
Fees applicable for different types of licenses at the following rates in suppression/
modification of the previous rates contained in Circular No. BTRC/Commission/Circular/
2002-87, dated: 13 -08-2012.

ISP licenses may be issued on a Nationwide or Zonal basis. Applicants f'or 7,onal licenscs
may seek a licence for more than one Zone.In the case of Zonal licenses, ISP Services may only bc
provided within that zone. In the event of any operator applying for conversion of its zonal ISP
licence to the Nationwide ISP Licence, the applicant shall have to pay the balance of all thc fces to
be paid for the Nationwide Licence in addition to all the fees already paid by it fbr thc zonal ISP
Licence. The coverage areas for ISP licenses are set in the following manner:

Moreover the Commission will issue 03 (three) more categories of ISP licenses namcly
Category A, Category B and Category C for Providing Internet Service including Cybcr Cafc
Service for every police station (P/S) of 06 (six) metropolitan areas and police stations othcr than
metropolitan area as mentioned in this circular.

No application for yearly endorsement of license shall be entertained beyond 60 (Sixty) days
of the expiry of the year of license concerned and the licensees shall have to apply before 180 (Onc
hundred and eighty) days of the expiration of duration of its license or else the liccnsc shall bc
cancelled as per the law and penal action shall follow if the licensee continues his busincss
thereafter without valid license. The late fees/fines shall be recoverable under the Public l)cmands
Recovery Act, 1913 (PDR Act 1913) if the licensee fails to submit the fees and charscs to rhc
Commission in due time.
