MARS CASHFLOW BILL ACCEPTOR STS
APPLICATION V4.5 AVAILABLE

OVERVIEW The purpose of this bulletin is to inform WMS employees that the Mars Cashflow Bill Acceptor STS
Application Software (STS) has been upgraded to version 4.5. STS 4.5 was designed to allow the
new Mars Cashflow Easitrax software to be downloaded. STS 4.5 is compatible with previously
released software.
Complete the installation and registration instructions included in this bulletin to access and
utilize the new version of the application.
INSTALLING STS The STS software must be installed onto a computer so firmware can then be uploaded onto a
ONTO A COMPUTER PPM.
NOTE: Before uploading Mars firmware, be sure it has been approved for local jurisdictions.
To install the STS software onto a computer, complete the following steps:
1 Go to the WMS Component Engineering (CE) intranet site at
http://intranet/7662/peripherals.htm.
2 From the Bill Validator section, under Mars Cashflow Bill Validator, go to To set up STS on
your computer and select click here, Figure 1.

The File Download dialog box displays, Figure 2. Select Open to unzip the setup files, or select
Save and browse to a location on the computer to save the files.

Once the download has been completed, a Download Complete dialog box displays,
Figure 3.

3 To access the setup file, select Open to unzip the installation files.
The Setup.zip dialog box displays, Figure 4.

4 Select setup.exe to run the executable file.

5 Select OK.
The setup.exe program begins running, and the Choose Language Setup screen displays,
Figure 6. The default is English (United States).
NOTE: If the installation does not start automatically, select Mars Cashflow STS in the CD
directory and follow the on-screen instructions.

6 To accept the default, select OK.
Otherwise, select the appropriate language for the installation from the drop-down list.
Select OK.
The InstallShield Wizard Welcome screen displays, Figure 7.

7 Select Next.
The License Agreement screen displays, Figure 8.

8 Select the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button and select Next.
The Customer Information screen displays, Figure 9. The default for installing the application is
Anyone who uses the computer (all users).

9 In the User Name field, enter WMS USER.
10 In the Organization field, enter WMS GAMING INC.
Accept the default in the Install this application for: section and select Next.
The Setup Type screen displays, Figure 10. The setup type default is Complete.

11 Accept the default and select Next.
The Ready to Install the Program screen displays, Figure 11.

To review or change any installation settings, select Back.
To exit the Wizard, select Cancel.
Otherwise, select Install.

12 When the installation process is complete, an Install Complete message displays, Figure 12.
Select Finish.

13 When prompted to restart the machine, select Yes, Figure 13.
Mars STS is now installed on the computer. The STS icon displays on the desktop, Figure 14.

Registering the STS Software
REGISTERING THE After the installation is complete, the STS software must be registered before it can be

To register the STS software, complete the following steps:
1 Select the Cashflow STS icon located on the desktop, Figure 15, or from the Start menu, and
then select All Programs |MEI |Cashflow-STS to launch the STS software.

The first time the Cashflow STS software is launched, the Enter License Key window displays,
Figure 16.

2 The 48-character License Key number must be entered. In the appropriate fields, enter
License Key AB0490-C15870-66BCFA-8E6E7A-DD237E-4E0910-927AF8-A66B76 and
select OK.
The Login window displays, Figure 17.

Contact Information
3 In the Login id field, enter admin in lowercase letters.
Leave the Password field blank. Select OK.
The Change Password window displays, Figure 18.

In the Old Password field, enter admin.
In the New Password field, enter a new password.
In the Confirm Password field, reenter the new password, and then select OK.
The Remember my Login Id and Password and log me in automatically checkbox can be
selected. This logs the user in automatically the next time the application is run.
The password is changed, and the STS application launches.
