3. PROYECCIÓN METODOLÓGICA Y ORGANIZATIVA PARA EL DESARROLLO DE LA ASIGNATURA

(PROYECCIÓN DE LOS MÉTODOS DE ENSEÑANZA-APRENDIZAJE QUE SE UTILIZARÁN)

The Communicative Approach: communication is not just a goal of language learning but is integral to the process. Students need this
competence so they can communicate effectively using their knowledge of the target language.

The Visual Approach: visual material is used to engage learners, stimulate language and help cross language borders. Class activities
develop learners’ critical thinking skills by encouraging students not only to describe images, but also to interpret and discuss them.
Task-based Language Teaching: students should learn language by using it. They will learn by performing tasks and through
problem-solving, not by receiving information. In this way, students must recall and use language they have learned in order to
accomplish the task.

Digital Literacy: the role of technology in education cannot be limited to enhancement of language or access to knowledge. Students
also need to learn how to use technology effectively and ethically to accomplish both academic and real-world tasks.
Extensive/Intensive Reading: students will examine the language in a text to see how it has been used. Intensive reading is also used
to develop specific reading strategies, while Extensive reading helps the student see the new language in context several times in
order to acquire it.

PROYECCIÓN DEL EMPLEO DE LAS TIC EN LOS PROCESOS DE APRENDIZAJE
