Good day! I am pleased to welcome you in this course. It is with great joy to
journey with you as we learn and embrace new horizon towards the beauty of science
and what it holds. Together, we will do our best and work hand in hand towards the
completion of this semester.
This course is designed to provide a general background for the understanding of the
Earth on a planetary scale. It presents the history of the earth through geologic time. It
discusses the Earth’s structure and composition, the processes that occur beneath and
on the Earth’s surface, as well as issues, concerns, and problems pertaining to Earth’s
resources.
With the learning packet provided every week, I know for sure that you will
enjoy and appreciate science more through this subject. I hope this subject will inspire
you to pursue what you truly desire.
