The Gayong-Gayong Sur Integrated School in Isabela, Philippines held a two-day School-Based BSP/GSP Camp-O-Ral event in November 2019. The event included a school parade, talent show searching for BSP/GSP Idol, and coronation program where Jefferson B. Resurreccion and Clara Nicole Resurreccion were crowned Lakan and Lakambini respectively. Scouters, teachers, and students participated enthusiastically in the various activities which aimed to develop skills and sportsmanship.

NARRATIVE REPORT

Scouting is one of the extracurricular activities where teachers and learners in the Philippine
Public Schools are actively participated.

Hence, November is the month for scouting celebration. A celebration that involves varied
activities for the students to perform to develop their skills and abilities as well as the value of
sportsmanship. The Gayong-Gayong Sur Integrated School conducted its School-Based BSP/GSP Camp
Oral greatly started a school parade awakened the community to witness. The formal opening was done
by Mrs. Nancy G. Aunzo, School Head. The scouters joined, cheered and yelled. The talents and wits of
scouters were uncovered. Those quiet in class showed how active and talented they were during the
Search for BSP/GSP Idol. Aside from the said activity, the Gayong-Gayong Sur Integratebd School hosted
a Coronation Program from Kinder to Senior High Scool. The program started with marching of colors,
led by SPG Officer, led by Alexis C. Asuncion, followed by the salute of the flag led by Sir Walter A. Rinion
and a prayer by Ma’am Beverly Zipagan. Our mother in school, Nancy G. Aunzo gave her words of
welcome. The entrance of the Royal court made the audience put into silence as they enjoyed looking at
the lovely and gorgeous candidates. A grade 6 pupil got the Lakan 2019 title in the person of Jefferson B.
Resurreccion and for the Lakambini was Clara Nicole Resurreccion a Grade 6 pupil got the title. Proud
relatives and friends, as well as the untiring and ever supportive parents of the candidates put on and
pinned the sash. Proclamation of other winners was done to keep the crowd intact.

The scouters seemed tireless, the teacher equally energetic as they cheered and acts like
mothers to the scout. Satisfied and fulfilled, all scouters went home with their hearts filled with joy and
pride.
