Question 1.
1. Convert the initials of your name (i.e. first letter of the first name and first letter of the last name) into
binary using the ASCII table below.
2. Consider the code generated against the first name initial as ‘M’ and that against the second initial as
‘N’.
3. Convert them into base 8, 16, BCD and Decimal
4. Use radix and radix-1 complement to compute M-N in all bases.
5. Convert the results in all bases back to decimal.
6. Are they equal?
