Resources Needed
 1-Spiral Notebook per subject (composition notebook preferred, but not required)
 1-Pocket Folder with prongs per subject

 1-pair of headphones
 Pencils/pens
 Electronic device (contact GMS if you don’t have one)
 TI-Nspire (provided by GMS)
 1-pair of scissors

 Glue sticks
 1-empty match box
*1-backpack for students wanting on campus instruction.

Guidelines for Assignments

 Solutions should NEVER just be a single number without some description of how you
got that number. Be prepared to explain how you got your answer if called upon.
 No Work = No Credit Be sure to take picture of your work, and turn in if requested.
 Everything is for a grade
 Expect to work every day

Make-ups
 If you are absent, you will be given one day to turn in any missing assignments. Keep in
mind a minimum of two grades will be taken daily; therefore, it is important to keep up
with assignments. Even though we will be working virtually, attendance will still take
place.
 Students can make up work during tutoring or homework corner (ACE). Dates for
tutoring will be posted at a later date. Math Wizards: Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-7:00 pm.
 Students will be given one opportunity (per nine weeks) to redo an exam one week from
receiving the original grade.
 The redoes will count to a maximum of 75%. There will be no bonus.
 Test redoes will be set up with a time set by the teacher.

Cheating
Cheating is putting answers down that are not yours. This includes, but is not limited to,
copying someone’s homework/in class assignments, copying answers from the internet,
using a pencil when we are checking work (in school instruction), letting someone else copy
your work, using a cheat sheet for a quiz or test, having someone else’s homework paper,
etc.

 If you can’t explain what you wrote down then you are cheating.
 Students will receive a grade of 0, and receive 2 days of detention with me (in school
instruction).
 No grade is worth cheating over. In the end you hurt yourself and your classmates. I
take this very seriously, trust is hard to rebuild.

Tutorials:
 All students are encouraged to come to tutorials at times set by the teacher for help.
 Homework corner is also an option in which the students can be helped.

Grades:
Overall 9 weeks Average determined by:
 Homework/Daily work/ Quizzes 75%
 Exams/Projects 25%
