PC upgrade Instruction
TOOlS：
1：TV Box which needed to update；
2：Computer；
3：USB cable, Dual USB connectors, refer to photo ；

4：Small iron/Wood stick (OD about 2.0mm，Longer than 30MM）

5,PC flashing tool- FactoryTool_v1.64

Install driver system to PC


(Some computer may not require to install, if installation is needed, you would get notice from compater, and follow
below steps to install)
Install Driver
1：Run Driver Assitant_v4.5\ DriverInstall.exe

Unload Driver
2: Select “Unload Driver”firstly, (in order to ensure install successfully).
3: After unload successfully, click to “Install Driver” .

Flashing steps

1：Double click to Run flash tool, FactoryTool_v1.64\FactoryTool.exe

2：Follow steps on photos；

2-Double click to Select img file

1-Click the 1st button

3-Double click OPEN button


4-Click to start, the 2nd button
5-This button would change to GREEN from RED

3：Connect to USB cable to PC, find the UPDATE hole at the tv box bottom, insert the small sticker to the hole will find a button inside, pin on it.
Connect another USB connector to device, USB2 (see below figure ), at this moment, status bar of Factory Tool on PC would show a notice-
“Find a loader device (发现一个 Loader 设备)”, now could take sticker away.

6-Start flashing

UPDATE HOLE

4, Start flashing, till it gets GREEN in the right side status bar. Connect TV Box to TV set, power on it for about 15 mins to finish flash.
Remark:
1-Make sure button inside UPDATE hole is pined on before connecting TV Box to PC via USB cable.
2-When device is successfully connected with PC, Factory Tool on PC will show the notice“Find a loader device
(发现一个 Loader 设备)”, if no, TV Box and PC is NOT connected yet.

3-Possibility to cause it failed to connect TV Box and PC via USB cable


A: The Driver is not installed successfully, pls unload it and re-install.
B: USB cable is too long, with too large resistance and cause insufficient power supply.
C: Something wrong happened to TV Box.
D: UPDATE button is not pinned.
