transition economies to become more competitive in the global market.  It is a joint agency of
the World Trade Organization and the United Nations
SheTrades Initiative

SheTrades aims to connect 3 million women to international markets by 2021. The Initiative works
with governments, corporations, and business support organizations across seven global actions to
unlock markets for women to Trade. SheTrades also enables women entrepreneurs to connect with
buyers, investors, events, and market opportunities through its digital platform

Job Description
This individual will be responsible for developing native and hybrid mobile apps for the SheTrades
initiative. In this role, you will deliver well designed, highly testable, and resilient mobile
applications for our clients
You will also be instrumental in driving our mobile technology roadmap forward and evangelizing
mobile development and testing practices.
The successful candidate is both deeply experienced with mobile development and a team player that
thrives in a collaborative agile environment.
Responsibilities

 Work with business owner and project managers to conceptualize and develop mobile
applications.
 Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
 Build out new React, React Native based iOS applications with new features and design
changes to improve the user experience.
 Work closely with the design and development team to provide inputs from UX perspective
and ensure integrations to back end are designed that are scalable and built appropriately.
 Designs, develops, and maintains user friendly mobile apps that are highly responsive and
secure.
 Establishing and adhering to the coding standards and other ITC standards.
 Work closely with business end users in defining the UX, wireframes and mockups.
 Perform tests locally as well as in an integrated, distributed environment.

Requirements
 Higher diploma or Bachelor degree in IT/Computer science or relevant degree, or
significant equivalent experience

 3+ years of Angular development experience (minimum 3 years of cumulative mobile app


development, design, and/or architecture)

 Ionic or React framework experience required

 Strong JavaScript coding experience

 Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

 Strong communicator and fluent in English with excellent written and verbal
communication skills

 Strong familiarity with iOS and Android applications
