MOTION FOR REDUCTION OF BAIL

ACCUSED, LEDIO ALCANTARA y MILKA, by himself, unto this Honorable


Court most respectfully avers that:

1. Accused is charged with the above captioned cases;

2. The Office of the City Prosecutor of City of San Jose Del Monte,
Bulacan has recommended the amount of bail to Php30,000.00

3. Under Rule 114 Section 9 of the Revised Rules on Criminal


Procedure, one of the factors in fixing or determining the amount of
bail is the financial ability or capacity of the accused to post bail;

4. The Accused has no means of livelihood as of the present. He only


works on call or by demand and the wage he receives is just enough
to sustain everyday life.

5. He can post bail if the same will be reduced from Php30,000.00 to


Php15,000.00.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is most respectfully prayed of


this Honorable Court that the foregoing motion be granted, reducing the
amount of bail to Php15,000.00.
Other reliefs just and equitable under the premises are likewise
prayed for.
