CSE Mentorship Program

7th June to 6th August 2020

OVERVIEW
This year due to the CoVid 19 Pandemic UPSC has postponed the CSE Prelims to 4th of
October 2020 and has left CSE Aspirants with just 3 months for the CSE mains preparation. In
light of this, Answer writing practice before prelims have become more important than ever.

HOW IT WORKS

Some officers of the CSE batch’18 have come up with this program wherein we would be
providing aspirants with 5-10 Questions daily on the Telegram channel which would comprise
of Self-made questions, Previous years Questions (For static) and on Sunday of the month
aspirants have the option of choosing their own questions (From any source of their choice)
and sending in their answers to us. We would provide aspirants with an email ID where they
can send their answers based on some guidelines (Refer to “Guidelines for sending answers
on mail” document).

The answers sent on the email which would be in coherence with the Guidelines would be
reviewed by anyone of us on a RANDOM BASIS (Based on how much time we all can spare).
Model answer or the best answer would be shared at the end of the day on the Telegram
channel.

PLAN
1. We would try to cover the whole syllabus in these two months so that aspirants have
the remaining two months strictly for Prelims.
2. We would be focusing on two GS papers for two straight weeks and then continue on
this basis. From Monday we would be starting with GS 1 & 2. Essay writing would be in
focus after prelims.
3. Daily we would post the questions before 12 noon and model/best answers would be
posted before questions of the following day.
4. 5-10 aspirants would be selected at the end of this on the basis of their consistency of
good quality answers. Their answers would be reviewed on a regular basis in the next
leg of this program.
5. Sunday would be free and we would be sharing motivational/preparation strategy/field
experience videos of selected officers. You can also send any question with its answer
on Sunday.
6. The email ID which would be commonly accessible to all of us officers would be
provided separately. Kindly follow the guidelines strictly if you want to get your
answers reviewed.
