the rules the video is giving you with examples (five rules). The examples on the chart can
give you a clue.

Rule Examples

Adding ed in the end of the verb. . 1. Want= Wanted

If the verb ends in e we add d to the end of the 1. Change= Changed

if the verb ends in y but it is preceded by a 1. Try= Tried


consonant we remove the y and add ied to the

if the verb is monosyllable and ends in a 1. Stop= Stopped

4 made at the end, the last consonant is doubled

and ed is added

if the verb ends in y but it is preceded by a vowel 1. Stay= Stayed
only ed is added.

4. Change these sentences into questions or negatives sentences:

5. Create a short story using at least 8 verbs (regular/irregular) in past.

Yesterday I cleaned my house, I could see that there were many spider webs, putted a lot of
water in it and then I took the water out with the broom, then cooked my lunch and I go to
my bed for watched a movie while drank a delicious strawberry smoothie, then I started
doing my homework of English.
