Guidelines to prepare the Final Practice School Project Report for the End

Semester Evaluation:  

 Prepare the report not exceeding 60 pages.


1. Paper Size: A4; Left = Right = Top = Bottom Margins = 1”
2. Page Numbering Position: Bottom with right justified and continuous numbering
from the INTRODUCTION Chapter.
3. Use Times New Roman/Arial Font with Normal Style, paragraph justified and 1.5
line spacing.
4. Chapter Heading: Times New Roman, Bold, Font Size 16; Paragraph headings
should be numbered as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. Paragraph Heading: Times New Roman
Font, Bold, Font Size 14; Paragraph Matter: Times New Roman Font, Normal, Font
Size 12.
5. Sub-paragraph headings be appropriately numbered as in 1.1.1, 1.2.1, 1.3.1, etc;
Sub-paragraph Heading: Times New Roman Font, Italics, Font Size 12;
Sub-paragraph Matter: Times New Roman Font, Normal, Font Size 12.
6. Figure captions below the Figure with chapter wise numbering.
7. Tables captions above the Table with chapter wise numbering.
8. All references must be quoted in ascending order (follow IEEE format for
referencing).
9. The sequence in which the initial pages of the project report have to be arranged is
as follows:
a) Front cover page with title of the project
b) First page with title of the project
c) Certificate
d) Project completion certificate from the Company
e) Acknowledgements
f) Abstract
g) Contents
h) List of figures
i) List of tables
j) List of notations and abbreviations
The pages containing Chapter 1(INTRODUCTION), Chapter 2 (LITERATURE
REVIEW), Chapter 3 (Methodology) etc. should succeed the above pages.
