Research Paper Rubric

This rubric evaluates student research papers across five categories: title, thesis statement, introduction, organization and structure, and grammar/mechanics. For each category, the rubric describes the characteristics and requirements for papers that exceed standards, meet standards, nearly meet standards, and do not meet standards. Scores are assigned based on how well the paper demonstrates the criteria in each category.
