LEIGISLATIVE AGENDA

2020 – 2022
by Municipality of Kitcharao

For the next three (3) years of service of the members of the Sangguniang
Bayan as duly elected representative of the people of Kitcharao, the August
Body vows to live up to the mandate and expectations of its constituents and
shall pass and enact legislations aimed towards the development and progress
of the quality of life and general welfare of the Kitcharaonons.

As the legislative council of the Municipality, the Sangguniang Bayan of


Kitcharao pledges its full support and cooperation to the programs and projects
of the present local administration as outlined in the executive agenda for the
years 2019- 2022 of our Municipal Mayor, the Honorable Aristotle E. Montante.

For the coming three years, fron July 2019 until June of 2020, the
Sangguniang Bayan of Kitcharao shall undertake the following concerns:

ON SOCIAL SERVICES
1. Enhancement/Amendment of GAD Code
- Livelihood program
- Women empowerment

2. Enhancement/Amendment of Children’s Code

- Establishment of holding center for juvenile offenders


- Enactment of other measures promoting safety to minors
- Teenage Pregnancy

3. Local Public Transport Route Plan


4. Establishment of Amusement Center/Amusement Park

ON ENVIRONMENT
1. Crafting of Municipal Environment Code
2. Enactment of Ordinance declaring the entire Lantawan Eco Park as
protected area

ON ECONOMIC
1. Enactment of Municipal Ordinance for Unified Fishery Ordinance
2. Enactment of Municipal Ordinance for the operation of Municipal
Slaughter House
3. Establishment of Aqua-Culture Park
ON DELVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATIONS
1. Legislative Tracking System
2. Legislative Building Construction
3. Purchase of vehicle for the Sangguniang Bayan Office
4. Human Resource Development Plan

ON GOVERNANCE
1. Codification Program
2. Water Sanitation Code
3. Enhancement/Amendment of Municipal Business Incentive Code
4. Enhancement/Amendment of Sanitation and Health Code
5. Enactment of Appropriation Ordinance for budget allocation for
priorities FMR and other infrastructure Projects
6. Enactment of Municipal Ordinance for implementation of Local
Public Transport Route Plan to all municipal transport groups
7. Enactment of Municipal Ordinance for municipal streets naming and
installation of signages
8. Crafting of Tourism Code
9. Farmer’s Code
