Sub:Reconstruction with geometric improvement of existing single/ Intermediate lane to 2 Lane with Paved
Shoulder Configuration from Existing Km 338.100 (Design Km 333.410) to Km 368.000 (Design Km 360.579)
excluding existing Km 349.800 to km 355.495 (Kaliyasaur bypass of NH-58) in the State of Uttarakhand under
EPC mode. COS for 2 nos. additional Culvert.

Dear Sir,

With reference to above mentioned letter herewith we are submitting our observations:-

1. As per EPC agreement schedule-B clause 7.2.4, 57 Nos. existing culvert shall be re-
constructed as new culvert. Kindly go through (*) mark note where clearly write: - Actual
chainage shall be decided at site in consultation with Authority Engineer. It means the
location may be change as per site condition, so arrange joint visit/inspection along with
Authority Representative for decision of changing of locations of balance culverts.

2. Please refer clause 13.1.3, The Contractor shall submit the proposal with the relevant
details with cost to Authority and refer clause 13.2, in the event of the Authority
determining that a change of Scope is necessary, it may direct the Authority’s Engineer to
issue to the Contractor a notice specifying in reasonable details the works and services
contemplated there under (the “Change of Scope Notice”)
