COMMUNICATION:

The imparting of information by speaking, writing, or using some other medium.

PURPOSE OF COMMUNICATION:

 Acquiring Information :

collecting, analyzing, and checking numerous types of communication and then


take initiative to generate ideas and solution.

 Disseminating Information :

Sharing Information to those who need it to perform their job.

 Maintaining Relationship :

Building trust and rapport with people through effective and appropriate
communication.

Effective Communication :

Communication should demonstrate characteristics in order to maximize its


impact.

o Accurate :

Communication should be accurate which means to present facts and figures


especially when numbers are in consideration.

o Appropriate Channel :

This means selecting the right type of media and channel to convey the
message.
o Clear :

Message should be very clear as there will no reservation should left for a
receiver which will helps to eliminate all discrepancies between sender and
receiver.

o Appropriate Language :

The image and tone are portraying the beliefs and mindset of the sender which
can create a big impact in communication. The right image and tone ensure the
message will not misinterpreted.
PROCESS OF COMMUNICATION
 Barriers To Effective Communication :

Any circumstances that prevent the message from being communicated as


intended by the sender to the recipient. The circumstances can be as follows.

 Issue in relationship between sender and receiver.

 Noise.

 Confusing & Conflicting messages.

 Receiver does not provide feedback.

 Lack of Information.

 Stereotyping.

 Use of technical jargon.

 Filtering Information.

 Selective Perception.
BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

 Definition :

Business communication is refer when the exchange of messages take place for
a commercial activity. Commercial activity include:

 To promote a product or services,

 To share information within the organization,

 To make a decision

 To persuade the recipient (e:g Customer, employee etc.)


 Qualities of Business Communication :

Following are some qualities of business communication which will create an


efficacy for the receiver to decode the message properly and provide feedback on
real time instead to go for a batch time.

 Ease of assimilation.

 Cost-beneficial.

 User-targeted.

 Relevant.

 Authoritative.

 Goals Of Business Communication :

The goals of business communication are:

 Provide proper instructions.

 Individuals fulfill the expectations.

 Better co-ordination between sender and receiver.

 Good control on operation by managers.

 Open communication.

 Reduced arguments and conflicts.
