ADU5320 – Introduction to MATLAB software

Answer All Questions. Write the MATLAB codes for each question.

1. Enter the following matrix using the special matrix functions and portioning (Do not directly
enter the entries).

2. Plot the three functions of x: 𝑦1 = 3 cos(𝑥) , 𝑦2 = cos(𝑥) , 𝑦3 = 1.5cos⁡(𝑥) in the interval


0 ≤ 𝑥 ≤ 3𝜋. Label the x and y axis and give a title to the graph. Also use different line styles
and colors to distinguish the three plots and include a legend.
