IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH ACROSS FIELDS

 Teachers – to improve educational practices


 ABM – to help design new product or service, to remain competitive in the
market, to establish enterprise
 STEM – to obtain significant information about disease trends and risk factors,
results of various health interventions, health care cost and use, to help build
structures that can withstand various calamities and disasters
 HUMSS – to provide solutions to social problems directly felt by people like child
labor, pregnancy, human trafficking, drug addiction, work ethics, stress
 Above all, research can help us understand and assess the things and
occurrences around us. It provides us with rationale and justifications of our
actions and decisions to improve the quality of our lives.
