System Requirements
Model PD-KB200/P: IBM PC compatible personal computer with a standard PS/2 keyboard
interface
Model PD-KB200/U: IBM PC, Mac compatible personal computer with a USB interface

Additional Functions
The back of the keyboard has DIP switches built-in to change key codes, Alt, Meta, and
Windows key functionality, and also enable/disable USB downstream ports settings.

To connect to a computer

PS/2 Interface Model


Plug in the Keyboard PS/2 cable into a PS/2 keyboard connector that is equipped with
your computer. If you use a computer that has a PC/AT-type (DIN 5 pin) keyboard
connector, you need to obtain a separate PS/2 to AT connector converter.
We recommend that you turn your computer off when connecting PS/2 keyboards,
peripherals to your computer.

USB Interface Model


1. Plug the keyboard cable into the computer USB port, or 500mA or higher self powered
USB (peripheral) HUB port. Do not connect to a USB HUB (BUS powered), which is
powered by the computer.
2. You do not need to turn off your computer when connecting the USB interface model.
3. Depending on your OS, your USB keyboard will automatically be recognized, and a
standard keyboard driver will be installed. Your OS install CD may be needed.
4. In some cases, your keyboard may not be recognized after your computer has been in
"suspend mode". In this case, please disconnect, and connect your keyboard to re
establish recognition.
5. This model does not come with an on/off button for Macintosh. Macintosh users,
please use the on/off button on the computer.

Keyboard or Natural Keyboard" setting.

PFU SYSTEMS, INC. (PSI) warrants this PD-KB200 series keyboard and all its components
against defect in materials or workmanship for a period of 6 month from the date of original
purchase. This warranty extends only to the original consumer of this product.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE UNDER THIS WARRANTY

If you discover a defect covered by this warranty, we will either repair the product or replace it with
new or remanufactured functionally equivalent product of equal value. To obtain service under this
warranty, email PSI's Support Center to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number;
then send the product with your proof of purchase, pre-paid to PSI at:

PRODUCT FAILURES NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY

This warranty covers defects in manufacture that arise from correct use in a home or office
environment. It does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, moisture, corrosive
environments, modification or repair by persons other lhan PSI or its authorized repair agents. It
does not apply to normal wear and tear.

LIMITS OF PSI's LIABILITY

PSI is solely responsible for the repair of this product. We will not be liable to any individual or entity
for any damages that result from the failure of this product or from the breach of any express or
implied warranties. These include damage to other equipment, lost data, lost profits, or any
consequential, incidental, or punitive damages related to failure of this product. IN NO EVENT
WILL PSI BE LIABLE FOR ANY AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE CURRENTLY SUGGESTED
