Media Player

-software that plays digital media. Is a computer program for playing multimedia files like videos, movies
and music. Media players commonly display standard media control icons known from physical devices
such as tape recorders and CD players, such as play ( Octicons-playback-play.svg ), pause ( Octicons-
playback-pause.svg ), fastforward, backforward, and stop ( Octicons-primitive-square.svg ) buttons. In
addition, they generally have progress bars (or "playback bars") to locate the current position in the
duration of the media file.

Different media players may have different goals and feature sets. Video players are a group of media
players that have their features geared more towards playing digital video. For example, Windows DVD
Player exclusively plays DVD-Video discs and nothing else. Media Player Classic can play individual audio
and video files but many of its features such as color correction, picture sharpening, zooming, set of
hotkeys, DVB support and subtitle support are only useful for video material such as films and cartoons.
Audio players, on the other hand, specialize in digital audio. For example, AIMP exclusively plays audio
formats. MediaMonkey can play both audio and video format but many of its features including media
library, lyric discovery, music visualization, online radio, audiobook indexing and tag editing are geared
toward consumption of audio material. In addition, watching video files on it can be a trying feat.
General-purpose media players also do exist. For example, Windows Media Player has exclusive features
for both audio and video material, although it cannot match the feature set of Media Player Classic and
MediaMonkey combined

2. Internet Browser(Internet Explorer,Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Chrome)

Mozilla Firefox is the best overall internet browser.Mozilla Firefox had the fastest times when
navigating to new pages and loading full pages. It has a clean design with settings and tools clearly
marked and easy to find, plus security tools like private browsing. Google Chrome is also a very good
browser, with the same toolset as Firefox, and while it typically comes down to personal preference,
Mozilla Firefox did do slightly better in our speed test than Google Chrome.Safari is designed specifically
for Mac computers and mobile devices. It is a fast browser when loading webpages and navigating
between sites. It isn’t very customizable, but it does come with live tech support.Google Chrome is
compatible with all platforms, Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. It syncs your devices so changes made
and saved in the browser can be accessed from other devices with Chrome installed.

Safari takes a moment to learn to use if you’re not already familiar with Mac computers, and you can’t
customize this browser with toolbars or icon shortcuts, but you still get tabbed browsing just like the
Windows browsers. Safari lets you tag favorite sites and has a reading list where you can save articles, or
parts of websites, to read later. While you’re reading an article, Safari has a tool that pushes ads and
other distractions aside so you can read just the article without texts or images breaking in. This browser
is the default for iPhones and iPads and has synchronization, so any changes to the browser from one
device will be available in Safari from other devices. This is one of the few browsers that has live
support. It also has great online resources, like tutorials and searchable FAQs, so you can find answers
on your own. A Safari user forum allows you to connect with other users about issues you’re having with
the Mac browser.

PROS

Designed exclusively for Mac devices.

Loads webpages quickly.

Offers telephone support.

CONS

Voice interaction works only with mobile devices - it isn’t an actual tool of the browser.

Isn’t compatible with Windows and Android operating systems.

You can’t customize the toolbars.

Chrome is fast at getting you to the webpages you need, though it does come behind Mozilla Firefox,
which is just a few milliseconds faster. Chrome lets you set icons on your toolbars so you can get to the
pages you visit often more quickly. You can also pin them to the Google Chrome homepage, which gives
you more room than the toolbar. It has tabbed browsing, so you can have multiple pages open at once
and easily toggle between them in a single window. The Google search engine is integrated into this
browser’s toolbar, so you can search by entering a term in the address bar and the search results come
up on Google’s page. This cuts out the step of opening the search engine’s landing page before
performing a search. If Google understands that you are looking for a specific page, often it will simply
redirect you to that page even if you didn’t enter a complete web address. Chrome has good tutorials
and a user forum to help you with issues. It does have email support that takes a while to get a return
response. As with most internet browsers, Chrome doesn’t offer telephone support.

PROS

It is compatible with all platforms and devices.

This browser has synchronization so all your settings are available on every device.

You can search the web from the address bar.2

CONS

This browser isn’t as fast at navigating between sites as others.

Telephone support isn’t offered.

Can’t search extensions from the browser menu.

Mozilla firefox..It has synchronization, so when you save passwords, bookmark pages and change
browser settings, you will have access to these — as well as your search history — on other computers
and mobile devices that have Firefox installed. This browser is nicely laid out and has a clean interface,
so it’s easy to figure out where the tools and features are, and to navigate to them. You can have
multiple browser tabs open at once in a single window, and rearrange their order by dragging and
dropping the tabs into your preferred order. If you accidentally close a tab, Firefox will recover it for you.
Firefox is secure with pop-up ad blockers, and it lets you know if a site you want to visit is known for
running phishing schemes. Mozilla includes a privacy browser, so you can search online without cookies
or other trackers looking at your browser history. When you download a file from online, Firefox will
scan it for any known viruses that might infect your computer. It’s difficult to contact live tech support
since Mozilla doesn’t offer telephone or chat support. Its email support doesn’t always return messages,
so your best bet for one-on-one help is through the user forums. You can also find a lot of good
information and resources, such as FAQs and tutorials, through the searchable knowledgebase.

PROS

The browser navigates the web very quickly.

You can browse the web privately.

It includes some parental controls.

CONS

Live support isn’t available.

Isn’t easy to find bookmarked webpages.

Landing page has a lot of ads and suggested links.

5. Messenger

Facebook Messenger (sometimes known as Messenger)[6] is a messaging app and platform. Originally
developed as Facebook Chat in 2008, the company revamped its messaging service in 2010, and
subsequently released standalone iOS and Android apps in August 2011. Over the years, Facebook has
released new apps on a variety of different operating systems, launched a dedicated website interface,
and separated the messaging functionality from the main Facebook app, requiring users to use the web
interface or download one of the standalone apps.

Users can send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers, audio, and files, as well as react to
other users' messages and interact with bots. The service also supports voice and video calling. The
standalone apps support using multiple accounts, conversations with optional end-to-end encryption,
and playing games.
