Amendment 15 4.2.1 – 4.2.2 Minor changes to the timing of MIT submission so that the MIT with meter reading after satisfactory systematic
flushing and water sampling are carried out (i.e. before issuance of Part V(b)) shall be provided on the MIT and
submitted to WSD. The meter readings after satisfactorily systematic flushing shall be provided as initial
readings of the water meters in MIT shall be provided.
Amendment 16 4.2.3 New sub‐section is added to incorporate the context of Circular Letter No. 7/2017 Part (B). The context of Part
(A) had been included in Section 3.6.
Amendment 17 4.2A New sub‐section is added to incorporate the context of Circular Letter No. 2/2019.

Amendment 26 4.5.1 New section is added to incorporate the context of Circular Letter No. 1/2019.

Amendment 41 Appendix 19 To provide the sampling requirements and sampling protocols for fresh water flushing and fire services fresh
water system.
To update the party responsible for carrying out water sampling and analysis. Water sampling and analysis
at all locations (including at connection point) and for any pipe size can be carried out by accredited
laboratories. LPs can also request Water Science Division of WSD to carry out water sampling and analysis
at connection point of any pipe size.
To update and incorporate the context of Circular Letter No. 2/2012.
