determine your awareness of the different types of communities and your
capacity to compare their unique characteristics and dynamics.

There are few people living. The lifestyle of people is so simple and there is a sense
of unity. Because most of the people are farmers, your everyday needs such as rice
and viand can be addressed by their harvest in farms or backyards. But, one of the
concerns of people in rural areas is the natural calamities that may strike their
farmland any time of the year. In addition, access to markets, schools and health
centers is a bit problem for it requires a long walk, long drive or different forms of
transport.
Urban communities are located in the city. Since it is a city, there are not
much open spaces and land areas. The land areas are for high-rise buildings,
business establishments, factories, housing and other infrastructures. They said
infrastructures are near each other. There is an immediate access to different
services such as education, health care, and job opportunities. Hence, there are
many people living in urban areas. Because of the good number of people living in
urban areas and space and resources are limited, people choose to live in
congested spaces. Moreover, traffic is one the issues of the people in living urban
communities.
The matrix has a clear distinction between rural and urban communities.
