Advanced Cardiac Life Support


This expert-level program is a scenario (case-based) continuing
education course intended for trained and skilled healthcare
providers who either direct or participate in cardiopulmonary
emergencies and resuscitation efforts.

• Read and interpret basic electrocardiograms (ECGs)

• Tachycardias and Bradycardias
and administer essential cardiovascular medications
• Acute Coronary Syndromes

• Designed to provide students with an opportunity
to enhance and refine knowledge and hands-on skill
proficiency in emergency cardiovascular care
• 2-year certification
• Continuing education hours (CEH)* of 15.0 CEH for
initial training, 7.0 CEH for renewal training
*Emergency Medical Services Continuing Education Hours (CEH) provided
through HSI, an organization accredited by the Commission on Accreditation
of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE).
