mentioned foods and including foods that aid liver-health. Here’s a glance:

1. Apples

The polyphenols present in Apple keep serum and lipid levels of liver under control. Apples carry pectin and
malic acid that help remove toxins and carcinogens. Apples have anti-inflammatory properties that protect
you against fatty liver.

2. Green Tea

Green tea is known for its antioxidants boost. Consuming 2 cups of green tea each day helps immensely in
keeping non-alcoholic fatty liver issues at bay.

3. Beetroots & Carrots

Betalains, betacyanin, and betanin present in beetroots protect the liver from injury due to carcinogens while
antioxidants in carrots reduce liver toxicity. Thereby you must aim at eating 1 cup of beetroots or carrots
thrice a week or get a glass of beetroot or carrot juice every day.

4. Lemons

Lemons are rich in Vitamin C and protect liver from oxidative damage. You must drink lemon in warm water
every morning to reap the best benefits or add it in Green Tea for a double dose of good health.

5. Green leafy vegetables

Green leafy vegetables like spinach, collard greens, mustard greens, etc ward off fatty liver issues due to
their antioxidants and vitamins content. For a great functioning liver, you must aim at eating a cup of leafy
greens in your daily diet.
