Daily Lesson Log of Stem - Pc11Ag-If-G-1 (Week Six-Seven-Day Four)

The document is a daily lesson log for a pre-calculus teacher teaching systems of nonlinear equations. The key objectives are for students to determine solutions of nonlinear systems using elimination and to formulate steps in solving them by elimination. The lesson procedures include reviewing a previous lesson on substitution, presenting examples solved by elimination, discussing concepts, and practicing skills through examples. Formative assessments are used to evaluate learning and additional activities are provided for students scoring below 80%.

Teacher Learning Area Pre-Calculus
Teaching Date 1 hour
Quarter
and Time
Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary
procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for
I. OBJECTIVES developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment Strategies. Valuing
objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning
the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
 Content The learner is able to understand the key concepts of series and mathematical induction and
Standards the Binomial Theorem.
 Performance The learners is able to keenly observe and investigate patterns, and formulate
Standards appropriate mathematical statements and prove them using mathematical induction
and/or Binomial Theorem.
Learning Competency: determines the solutions of systems of nonlinear equations using
techniques such as substitution, elimination, and graphing. (STEM_PC11AG-If-g-1)
 Learning Learning objectives:

These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that pupils/students will learn
well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the pupils/ students which you can infer from formative
IV. PROCEDURES assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing pupils/students with multiple ways to learn new
things, practice the learning, question their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in
relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.
