When we attend to the brake repairs. if we required additional repairs to complete same, we will forward the
separate estimate for your approval and payment.
Scope of Work

Commencement of Job: Job will be commenced within 03 Working Days from the date of receipt of Spare Parts.
Validity : 30 days from the date of the quotation.
Payment Terms: Full amount to be paid, along with the placement of the order.
Mode of Payments: Payments can be made in any of the following modes using the quotation reference number.
a) Cash at the Counter of UTE head office or any of the branch offices.
b) Bank Deposit can be made using the “Quotation Number” as the reference. “Deposit Slip” should be forwarded to UTE for
verification prior to commencement of the job.

c) Cheques drawn only in favor of “United Tractor & Equipment (Private) Limited” with crossing “Account Payee Only”. Cash payments
should be made only to an authorized officer at our head office or branch and acknowledgement thereof signed by our authorized officer
should be obtained. Job commencement may not occur until the payment is realized unless prior approval is obtained.
Note :
Customer should not deduct “Withholding Tax” (WHT) from the above
payment as UTE has obtained a WHT Direction from Department Of Inland Revenue.

Notes:
1) If it is found during dismantling or testing after the repairs, that any additional spare parts are required to complete the job, the same will
be brought to your notice together with a supplementary

estimate for necessary approval/payment as applicable. In such event the duration of the repair will be extended appropriately.
2) A responsible officer is to be appointed by the customer for the joint inspections during Services/Inspections/ Repairs/ Tests and to
certify the relevant Inspections Sheets/ Worksheets.
3) The prices given in the quotation are based on carrying out the job on normal working days. Additional surcharge of 35% on labor and
transport will be levied if the service / repair has to be carried out on a holiday.
4) The prices given in the quotation are based on the current cost of materials, labour, taxes etc., which are in turn dependent on the
supplier’s prices, rates of exchange, imports duty, freight,
insurance, transport, government taxes etc. These estimated prices will be subjected to revision at the time of despatch in the event the
prices or rates of any of the above mentioned cost items
have been changed.
5) The Jobs carried out by UTE will be considered as “Non-guaranteed Jobs”, in the event;
i. any spare part/parts, accessories, lubricants, or other material are supplied by the Customers which are not purchased from UTE
or from a source approved by UTE, and/ or
ii. any part/portion of the job is undertaken by the Customer/s, which is not approved by UTE
