B.1 Manhole
Supply and construct the following approved JPP
sewer manhole c/w cover. Rate to include all necessary
excavation, backfilling, precast R.C. manhole, concrete
base, lean concrete, reinforcement, heavy duty ductile
iron frame and cover, stainless steel steps and all
details as per drawing and as per specification.

a) Manhole depth not exceeding 2M depth no 4 148.46

b) Ditto, exceeding 2M but not exceeding 3M depth no 0 148.46

1.1 Testing & Commissioning


Testing of sewer line as per specification (Rate to sum 2,500
include 100% CCTV inspection)

Supply, install and lay underground 225mm diameter m 100 280
VC pipe complete with flexible joint. Rate to include
all necessary accessories (bend, tee), excavation,
embedded in carefully campacted 20mm aggregate
and top compacted carefully with selected backfilling.
Supply, concrete, lay and install underground 225mm
diameter x 150mm diameter vcp tee joint. no 4 135

Soil Description and Existing Services


1) The ground water lable was established at
3.00m below existing ground level.
2) The work is to be carried out a minimum
distance of 50m from a canal the normal level
which is 3.00m below ground water level.
3) Telephone wire cross over the site at a height
of 15.00m on the line shown on the location drawing

Sewerage Pipe
A. Excavating trenches to receive pipes size 225mm
diameter, starting at ground level, maximum depth
not exceeding 2.00m deep, average deep including
earthwork support, treating bottoms, filling in,
compaction and dsiposal of surplus spoil. m 58 12.00

B. Extra over excavating trenches to receive pipes
