I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This covers the theoretical basis of Guidance & Counseling. The Main purpose is to deepen understanding and appreciation of
the view and nature of man through a trans-disciplinary approach.

II. GENERAL OBJECTIVES


At the end of the course, students be able to:
 Explain the philosophical, psychological and sociological foundations of guidance and counseling
 Demonstrate professional skills and competencies in the helping relationships
 Manifest the capability in valuing the importance of understanding human beings through a trans-disciplinary approach.

III. BASES of EVALUATION


1. Active & relevant participation in class activities, quizzes, assignments, written reports, library research
