Airmeet helps to create online events that encourage immersive interactions and networking
among attendees.

As a community manager, you can host an Airmeet with up to 1M users concurrently and
have up to 16 speakers live.

FAQs

1. How do I request a host account?


Airmeet is currently in private beta, and you can sign up for access by signing up for
demo at homepage.
Our team will get back to you about the access credentials and steps to host it!

2. How do I handle registrations for my event


Airmeet allows you to force sign-in for the event during the Airmeet Creation step by not
selecting the “allow Guest Authentication”
As a host, you can see the registration in the airmeet detailed view. You can also export
this as CSV file.

3. Are my Airmeets publicly accessible?


Yes, if you create the airmeet as “listed”. Unlisted Airmeets are not shared on Airmeet
home page

4. Do I need to download any software ?


No, Airmeet does not need any downloadable components.

5. Which browsers do you support?


We support all modern browsers, however, we recommend the latest version of Chrome
to be used for the best experience. Chrome 79 or latest -
6. Will it work on a mobile browser?
The mobile experience is currently limited to only consumption of live stream and the
interactive features are not accessible. We recommend that you use Desktop or Laptop
with stable internet connection and preferably Chrome browser.

7. What is a social lounge?


Social lounge is the virtual space where the attendee can be seated at any table, move
across tables and interact with those on the same tables in a mini-virtual conference.
The lounge is active only during the networking break.

8. Can speakers join lounge conversations?


Yes, a speaker can join any table during the networking break when the social lounge is
active

9. What is backstage?
The backstage is the private space where Speakers can interact with each other and
host. It is intended to help speaker and host to prepare for the live conference by testing
audio and video feed, network connectivity and set up for speaker before going LIVE.

10. How many speakers can the airmeet accommodate ?


Airmeet can host upto 16 speakers in one session, however we recommend 4-6
speakers at max for the best experience of live feed for attendees.

11. How many attendees can the airmeet accommodate ?


Airmeet can support up to 1 million attendees simultaneously.

12. How can I charge fees from my attendees, can I conduct paid
events on AirMeet?
We are currently working on this feature. At this moment, you can not enable paid
registrations. As a work around, you can create event on other platform, collect payment
and then share the link of Airmeet with paid subscriber.

13. Are the sessions recorded? Where can I access these?


The LIVE sessions are recorded by Airmeet. As a host, you can request these to us by
writing to us. Please note that the conversations on Virtual tables are not recorded

14. What is take a break ?


During the LIVE session, “Take a break” allows the speaks and host to pause the live
session for a brief period. In this duration, the social lounge is enabled again for
attendees to network. In this duration, speakers and host move to backstage to interact
and take break. Speakers can also join the social lounge.
The host can resume the session once the break ends.

15. What are the subscription plans for Airmeet as Host?


At the moment, Airmeet is in private beta and we are completely free to you as a host.

16. Why am I getting an error that “disconnected due to logged on


another device”?
This is often observed when you have tried to use the link on multiple devices
simultaneously.

17. What is “Raise Hand”


As an attendee, you can interact and ask question to speaker and host via “Raise Hand”
feature.The host controls the mic handover. When the host accepts your permission to
raise hand, you will be live on main stage and your video and audio is seen by all
attendees. You can return the mic post the question and answer by speaker.

18. What’s the quality of video streams in Airmeet?


Airmeet supports High Definition video quality for live sessions and virtual table
conferences.

19. As an Attendee, I am unable to see or hear anything?


Please refresh your brower. If error persists, you can try to relaunch the browser and try
in incognito mode.
In case you have installed/used another conferencing solution, please close that tab on
browser or stop the application. It is observed that the speaker and mic permissions are
unavailable for airmeet due to these being taken by other applications.

20. How many people can be on table?


At the moment, we have preconfigured only 4 people on one table. This will be soon
configurable by host during the airmeet creation.

21. Can you run multiple live sessions simultaneously?


No, at this point in time, we support only single track sessions. However, for one
community, different community managers can create separate airmeets simultaneously
Issues that you might encounter
1. As an Attendee, I am unable to see or hear anything?
2. As host I am not visible to few speakers or few attendees
Please ask attendees to refresh the brower. If error persists, they can try to relaunch the
browser and try in incognito mode.

In case these users have installed/used another conferencing solution, please close that
tab on browser or stop the application. It is observed that the speaker and mic
permissions are unavailable for airmeet due to these being taken by other applications.

3. I am unable to see chat messages


Please refresh your page and if error persists, please relaunch your browser.

4. The live session feed is unstable


This is often encountered due to your own network connection stability. Please check
your network. If your network is stable, please try to relaunch the browser to clear cache.

5. Getting disconnected error -


Please ensure that you are not logging on multiple tabs in same system or using same
login across different devices
